Yuvral singh's team Punjab XI posted 166 for 8 with the captain scoring highest 57 off 34 balls with three sixes  and K Goel 26 off 21 with two sixes . Run rate was 8.3 per over .

It seemed that Rajastahn Royals may find it difficult but Shane Watson ( 76 off 49 with five sixes ) and Ravinder Jadeja ( 36 off 25 with one six ) helped Rajasthan  Royals  to a total of 168 for 4 in 18.1 overs  to register their first win .This must have really encouraged the captain Sharne Warne .
